Job Description: |
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Evaluate, implement and deploy new state-of-the art Backend technologies
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Integration of data storage solutions
Skills
- Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one python framework such as Django, Flask
- Familiarity with API creation and RESTful services
- Familiarity with some ORM (would be an added advantage)
- Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, Mercurial or SVN
- Maintain code integrity and organization
- Good communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix Environment and commands will be a plus
- Knowledge of web servers like Nginx and Apache will be a plus
