We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with strong capabilities in system and RTL-level design. The engineer will play an integral role in developing new and innovative technologies and products.

Key Qualifications Over 3 or more years of experience with proven track record of developing FPGA based applications from concept to production Strong Verilog RTL design skills Proven FPGA system architecture and micro architecture design skills Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Vivado and Synplify, and design constraints Experience with IP evaluation, integration and validation Experience with high speed serdes design, AXI and SDRAM memory interface design in FPGA Clock crossing and reset design techniques Demonstrates best-practice design methodologies to achieve reliable, and high speed designs over 250MHz clock speed. Experience in Microblaze, and Zynq ARM processors Processor peripheral interfaces (USB, UART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PDM, and high speed serial I/F’s) Experience with industry-standard protocols (PCI Express, Ethernet, DP, LVDS, HDMI, MIPI, Optical etc.) is desired Experience with board bring-up and system validation Proficiency with FPGA verification techniques Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and chipscope/signal tap, protocol analyzers are strongly preferred Familiarity with latest Xilinx FPGA or Altera FPGA technologies Scripting skills (Perl/Python) Understanding of low level software (firmware and/or drivers in C or C++) Ability to quickly pick up and own new concepts to contribute with innovative solutions Good judgment and understanding of system-level impact of design choices Thorough, disciplined, methodical, and good documentation habits Proficiency in navigating electrical schematic is preferred Team player with excellent conversational and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills Basic working knowledge of Signal Integrity (to recognize any problems when working independently) Description Be responsible for system architecture, micro architecture, RTL coding, IP selection, IP evaluation, IP integration, FPGA building, FPGA verification and hardware brings up.

Required skills include low-level FPGA integrating, low level hard/soft macros, RTL coding, embedded systems, high speed serial links, high level IP blocks, custom hardware-accelerated algorithms, and video pipeline knowledge.
