Job Description:

Plego Technologies is looking for multiple rock star experienced Senior Backend Developers to join our fast-paced development team. Overall, you will work closely with the entire technology team. We are very focused on accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness as you seamlessly fit within our sprint process and agile methodology. You will be asked to take the initiative on your workload, so self-motivation is a must!

And most important, you would be joining a very cool and intelligent team.

We’re looking for someone with experience with multiple frameworks and languages who can quickly learn and understand our code base, help identify architecture and performance improvements, and can drive a transition plan to get there while continuing to improve our user experience.

Desired Experience:

1. Good command and Knowledge of AJAX, HTML/HTML5 & CSS/CSS3 (High Proficiency), JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks preferably jQuery (advanced knowledge)

2. Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and techniques using PHP

3. Sound understanding of OOPs and MVC development

4. 5+ years of experience with PHP along with few of it’s main MVC frameworks like Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter etc

5. 5+ years of experience with MySQL

6. Can work on APIs & create APIs for other applications

7. Should be able to work on SFTP via Putty etc

8. AWS infrastructure knowledge

9. Ability debug / QA your own code

10. Familiarity with Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software

11. Web services knowledge is must (SOAP, REST)

12. Ability to learn new tools and technologies

13. Should have good experience in database designing.

14. Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues/ tickets accordingly
