Job Description:

Data Scientist (E-commerce)

Note: Candidates with less than 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in Retail and E-commerce would not be considered

Bikter Tech is looking to hire a Data Scientist with 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist in the E-commerce industry. Our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and excellent analytical skills, business understanding, communication skills and understanding and experience in Data Warehouse and Cloud concepts.

Responsibilities:

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and understand customer requirements.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Work directly with prospective customers’ technical and business teams to devise and recommend solutions based on the understood requirements.
Work on various projects to showcase the benefits of Advanced Analytics and Big Data Technologies to customers.
Use Analytical tools and Deep Learning frameworks
Reveal findings to IT and Business stakeholders in a presentable manner.
Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with possible solutions/analytics.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Must have 3-5 years’ experience as a Data Scientist in the E-commerce industry
Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Java, etc.)
Comfortable with and experience using SQL.
Familiarity with Statistical concepts. In-depth understanding is a plus.
Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts. In-depth understanding is a plus.
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning is a plus
Very strong analytical skills.
Experience in data analysis is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Ability to independently manage critical situations.
Team player.

Location: Bahria Town, Rawalpindi

Mode of Work: Work from the Office/On-site
